Die Beta ist nun da.

Bitte nicht wundern, Seattle ist die Lite-Version und entspricht nur 25% der Full:

"The Pre-Order Beta only has Seattle (Lite). That mostly means that about 25% of the environment has objects and the rest was removed. Of course in the full version the entire environment is covered by objects. "

Weißt Du, wie man sowas instllieren sollte? Als Mod bekam ich´s nicht hin! :help:

Du musst OA/OpA besitzen!

HOW TO INSTALL, RUN & UPDATE THE COMMUNITY PREVIEW:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
To install for the first time, run the preview EXE to apply the setup automatically (you may be prompted to choose your exact version in some occasions). To update, you must un-install and install once more.

* This will install all preview content to a mod folder "tkoh_preview"

* To launch TKOH Community Preview, you must use the shortcut "Launch TKOH Community Preview". This is located in the main game directory.

* Note, you can always run your Arma2 OA final version in the main Arma2 OA folder if you use default application shortcuts, start menu or run the regular arma2OA.exe without the preview mod folder.

Extra information: you can configure your TKOH Community Preview to include other mods, etc.

* To launch custom mods, just make make sure that in your ArmA shortcut start-up target line:

- You are running the takeonhpreview.exe.exe from your "tkoh_preview" folder.

- You have "tkoh_preview" in your modfolder as in -mod=tkoh_preview
example: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead\tkoh_preview\takeonhpreview.exe.exe" -mod=tkoh_preview

- Make sure the shortcut's "Start In" section refers to main "ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead" main working folder and NOT "ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead/tkoh_preview"
example: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead"

Der Preload ist gestartet.

Wichtig: Nach ca. 95% stoppt der Download. Dieser muss dann morgen ab ca. 15:30 Uhr fortgesetzt werden, denn ab diesem Zeitpunkt wird der Download komplettiert. Erst DANACH kann das Spiel installiert werden!

Die Beta vorher deinstallieren, da die neue Installation komplett die Daten auch neu anlegt! Es erfolgt KEIN Update/Upgrade der Beta!

Nur Download so weit ich weiß. In -DACH- ist (leider) wieder Morphicon für den DVD Verkauf zuständig - bei denen ist die HP allerdings gnadenlos veraltet! :(

Download in -D- ist über/bei Aerosoft.

hmm seh grad das amazon das wohl für dezember listet. :(
entlastet aber auch gott sei dank meinen geldbeutel für diesen monat, der durch mein weggemopstes rad ohnehin schon stark genug belastet ist :D

Fehler in der gestrigen Pre-Download Datei:

"Yesterday you will have received a preload email for Take On Helicopters. Unfortunately, there has been an error in the Sprocket.exe downloader. When you start the download to custom location, the files are being downloaded, but as soon as you exit the downloader and then run it again, it starts downloading the files into Your documents/Sprocket/ instead of your custom download location it has been using before. The solution follows: Download new the sprocket.exe from: http://www.sprocketidea.com/joomla/d...NHENG01&lang=1 Run it and select a folder into which you have downloaded the files before. The downloader will check files for consistency and resume the download. The last file of the game installation will be released today at 15:30 CEST. We humbly apologize for the inconvenience. Es ist NICHT nötig, das ganze Datenpaket noch einmal zu laden, sondern nur den Zielpfad neu anzupassen!

Bohemia Interactive has released a major new patch for their latest game, Take On Helicopters.

Patch 1.04 – codenamed Cougar – refines the experience of flying across the wide variety of helicopter gameplay by implementing a massive upgrade to the flight model. It also brings an initial introduction to Java scripting and lifts all DRM-restrictions.

First up, the flight model (RotorLib by RTDynamics) has undergone some major revisions. Project Lead Joris-Jan van ‘t Land elaborates:

“The upgrade to version 4.0 of RotorLib is significant. It brings a more authentic flight experience to our gameplay. We’ve worked together with RTDynamics to overhaul things like fuselage and wing aerodynamics, as well as improve the handling of engine power and drive train torque calculations. Translating this to gameplay, our players will be challenged to re-master the handling of some of the helicopters, meaning the cargo-drop you achieved last week might be a whole different proposition now!”

The second highlight is the inclusion of Java scripting: a welcome addition for the more advanced mission-makers of the Take On Helicopters community. The widespread, proven and robust language offers loads of documentation and tutorials, helping to streamline the process of getting custom gameplay up and running. Joris-Jan van ‘t Land:

“This patch lets mod-makers use tools such as NetBeans and Eclipse for development and debugging, Object-Oriented programming architecture and design, much higher performance script execution and access to many standard Java libraries. Although this initial integration of Java scripting into Take On Helicopters is just the first step, we’re confident it’ll help our talented community to produce more robust gameplay more quickly.”

Last but not least, the update removes all DRM-restrictions. This means that people will no longer need to activate the game’s serial key online and the DVD will not need to be in the disk drive while playing.

The Steam version of Take On Helicopters will be updated automatically.
